Regular batches conferring to standard are sent for further verification by the public analysts department. The products are checked against official Pharmacopoeia monographs and tested to ensure compliance. The tests include microscopical examination, quantitative and qualitative analyses and assays, tests for any heavy metal contamination and pesticide residues, together with tests to ensure that all materials are free from any biological pathogenic organisms.
