Kindness in community – Yvonne James sets up cancer help hub
Yvonne James, telesales manager at Bio-Health for many years, has set up a support hub for people affected by cancer in Long Sutton, Lincolnshire.
Cancer Support groups are gradually opening Macmillan Volunteer Hubs throughout Lincolnshire. The latest one is to be at The Market House, Long Sutton. The Hub will provide practical and emotional support for people that are affected by cancer.
On Thursday 13th October 2016 an Induction Day was held at the Market House for the volunteers, the photograph shows some of the volunteers taking part in group activities. There will be a number of Training Days before the Launch of the group on Friday 2nd December 2016.
Cancer Volunteer Support would like to extend a huge thank you to the Market House for their support and in particular the Chair of the Market House, Jeanne Sibley.
