1981
Struggling with allergies, David Smith realises his need for filler-and-additive-free vitamins, herbs and minerals.
Bio-Health is born with the creation of seven Pure-fil products.
1988
The Pure-fil range grows to include 30 products.
Bio-Health expands and moves its production to a purpose-built plant in Rochester, Kent.
1996
In January, June Crisp brings her unique passion and drive to Bio-Health when she becomes the company's major shareholder.
June goes on to progress the Pure-fil range, adding fifteen more traditional herbal remedies, and is soon joined by Victor Perfitt MBE, the former owner of herbal medicine specialists "Gerard House".
Victor immediately sets about transforming the plant into premises that would be licensed to manufacture medicines.
1997
Bio-Health is granted a full manufacturing licence.
2021
Bio-Health joins the Herb UK family, forming the ultimate holistic group with products focused on the health of the body as well as the health of the hair.
2022
We begin use of a 90% bio-polymer plastic for all 30, 60 & 120-size containers and lids.
2026
Bio-Health moves production to Herb UK HQ, in the heart of England's New Forest.
